Triggers Overview in Stack

What are Triggers?

Triggers in Stack are conditional statements, much like Zaps in Zapier, that seamlessly connect the various modules of Stack. Think of them as the hidden wiring or the 'secret sauce' that powers the amazing functionalities Stack provides.

Example Scenario

Imagine you have set up a Zap in Zapier to push leads into a Stack campaign when they fill out a form on a ClickFunnels landing page. You also want to notify your client via SMS whenever a new lead comes in. How can you accomplish this?

Solution: Set up a Trigger in Stack!

Creating, Naming, and Activating Triggers

Follow these steps to create, name, and activate a Trigger in your Stack account:

  1. Access Triggers:

    • Navigate to the Triggers section in your Stack dashboard.
  2. Create a New Trigger:

    • Click on + New Basic Rule.
  3. Configure the Trigger:

    • Select a trigger from the Choose a trigger dropdown menu and apply all necessary filters.
  4. Add an Action:

    • Click +Add action.
    • Choose an action from the Choose an action dropdown menu and apply the required filters.
  5. Name and Activate the Trigger:

    • Enter a name for your Trigger in the Trigger name field.
    • Click the Draft dropdown and select Activate to enable your Trigger.

By following these steps, you can efficiently automate tasks and streamline processes within your Stack account, enhancing your workflow and client interactions.
