Steps to Set Up the Integration
1. Create a Webhook in Stack
- Navigate to the Automation section in your Stack account.
- Select Workflows and create a new workflow or edit an existing one.
- Add a Webhook action:
- Click on the plus icon to add a new action.
- Choose the "Send Webhook" option.
- Enter the webhook URL that you will get from Zapier in the next steps.
2. Set Up Zapier to Connect with Google Sheets
- Log in to your Zapier account and create a new Zap.
- Choose Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger app.
- Select "Catch Hook" as the trigger event.
- Zapier will provide you with a unique webhook URL. Copy this URL and paste it into the Webhook action in Stack.
- Test the Trigger:
- Return to Stack and trigger the workflow to send a test webhook.
- In Zapier, confirm that the test data is received successfully.
3. Configure Google Sheets as the Action
- Select Google Sheets as the action app in Zapier.
- Choose the Action Event:
- Typically, you will select "Create Spreadsheet Row" to add new contact information to your Google Sheet.
- Connect your Google Account and select the specific spreadsheet and worksheet where you want the data to be added.
- Map the Data:
- Match the fields from Stack to the columns in your Google Sheet.
- Test the Action:
