In Stack, you have the flexibility to update date-type fields using several options. Here's how you can manage these updates:

Options for Updating Date Fields​

Custom Date​

You can input custom dates using specific formats. Make sure to use one of the following formats to ensure the date is correctly recognized:

  • MM-DD-YYYY: For example, enter 12-21-2021.
  • DD-MMM-YYYY: For example, enter 21-OCT-2021.

Current Date​

Select this option to automatically update the date field with today's date. This is useful for tracking the current date in your records without manual input.

Specific Date​

If you need to set a particular date, choose this option. You can select the exact date you want to apply to the field, providing precise control over your date entries.

By using these options, you can efficiently manage date fields within your Stack account, ensuring your records are always up-to-date and accurate.
