How to Restore Deleted Workflows in Stack
What is this Feature?
This feature allows you to restore workflows that you have previously deleted. It's a handy tool to recover workflows without having to recreate them from scratch.
How to Restore Deleted Workflows
- Navigate to the workflow list page in your Stack account.
- Click on the "Deleted" tab. Here, you'll see a list of all workflows that have been deleted.
- Find the workflow you wish to restore and click the "Restore" button next to it.
- To confirm deletion of a workflow, you will need to type in the workflow name.

How long will deleted workflows remain in the "Deleted" tab?
Deleted workflows will be available in the "Deleted" tab for 90 days.
Can I delete a workflow immediately after restoring it?
No, once a workflow is restored, it cannot be deleted again for 48 hours.
Can I restore a workflow immediately after deleting it?
You can restore a workflow 30 minutes after it has been deleted, as the deletion process will still be in progress during this period.
Will my workflow be in a published state after restoring?
No, when a workflow is restored, it will be in the Draft stage.
What happens to deleted workflows if I transfer locations?
Deleted workflows from the old location will not appear in the new location. Only the deleted workflows from the new location will be shown.
Will all information be available in the workflow after restoring it?
- The contacts' information in the enrollment history and execution logs will remain intact.
- Contacts in a wait step will be removed from that specific execution.
- The restored workflow will keep its original triggers and actions with the same configuration.
- Contacts that were in the workflow at the time of deletion will not be restored.
