Error Notifications in Workflows

Stay informed about any issues in your workflows with Stack's new error notification feature. You'll receive email alerts for errors, and manage them easily with the Needs Review tab. Customize your notification settings and acknowledge errors with ease.

What's New​

Email Notifications for Errors​

You'll now receive emails whenever there's an error in your workflows. These notifications help you quickly address any issues.

Workflow Settings​

A new Workflow Settings option is available. Access this to configure your email notifications according to your preferences.

Needs Review Tab​

The Needs Review tab on the workflows list page displays all workflows containing errors, making it easy to identify and address them.

Automated Error Notifications​

Whenever an error occurs in a workflow, an email is automatically sent to notify you.

Error Acknowledgment​

In the execution logs, a new button allows you to acknowledge that you have viewed the errors, helping you keep track of what has been addressed.

How to Use​

  1. Set Up Notifications: Click on Workflow Settings to configure your email notifications.
  2. View Errors: Use the Needs Review tab in workflows to see a list of workflows with errors.
  3. Check Execution Logs: Click on any item to view the execution logs.
  4. Acknowledge Errors: Mark errors as read to confirm you've reviewed them.

Important Points​

  • Notifications are off by default.
  • You can add or remove email recipients as needed.
  • You'll receive an email immediately when an error occurs.
  • The "Review it" button in the email directs you to the Needs Review tab.
  • You will receive only one email every 24 hours. If new errors are detected after this period, a new email will be sent.

How to Disable Notifications​

To stop receiving error notification emails, simply go to Workflow Settings and turn off the toggle.
