Objective

When a contact successfully books an appointment, you might want to manage what happens next. Stack now offers two key capabilities to enhance your post-appointment interactions:

  1. Put the Bot to Sleep: Automatically pause bot responses once an appointment is booked.
  2. Trigger a Workflow: Start specific workflows right after an appointment is confirmed.

Solution

To meet these needs, we've added two new settings in the Appointment Booking configuration:

Put the Bot to Sleep

  • Description: This feature allows you to pause the bot's automated responses after an appointment is booked.
  • Customization: You can specify how long the bot should remain inactive, ensuring no further automated messages are sent during this time.

Trigger Workflows

  • Description: You can now initiate one or more workflows automatically after an appointment is booked.
  • Configuration: Use the dropdown menu to select and configure multiple workflows that will be triggered post-booking.

Note

Both of these settings can be enabled at the same time, providing a highly customizable experience tailored to your specific needs.
