Choose A Workflow Trigger​

Contains Phrase​

The trigger will activate if the comment contains any of the specified text strings.

  • Example:
    • Phrase: "I bought from you"
    • Comment: "I bought from you yesterday" → Pass
    • Comment: "I bought one from you" → Fail

Exact Match​

The trigger will activate if the entire comment exactly matches one of the specified text strings.

  • Example:
    • Phrase: "I bought from you"
    • Comment: "I bought from you" → Pass
    • Comment: "I bought from you yesterday" → Fail

Page Is + Post Type + Post Is​

  1. Select the Page: Choose from the list under Standard Fields > Page Is.
  2. Select the Post Type: Choose Published Post or enter a URL for a Custom Post.
  3. Identify the Exact Post: Select from the list for Published Post or enter the URL for Custom Post.

Contains Phrase OR Exact Match​

After identifying the exact post, choose between:

  • Contains Phrase: Activates if the comment body contains the specified text.
  • Exact Match: Activates if the comment body exactly matches the specified text.

Track First Level Comment Only​

  • Toggle On: Activates only for the first comment in a thread.
  • Toggle Off: Activates for any comment, including nested ones.
