Overview

The Send Invoice action in Stack allows you to automatically send invoices to your contacts within a workflow. This feature helps streamline your invoicing process, ensuring that billing for your products or services is both timely and consistent.

Action Description

With this action, you can:

  • Configure the action name.
  • Select the "From User" to define who the invoice is sent from.
  • Choose a template from your pre-created invoice templates.
  • Select a payment mode.

You can utilize templates from the invoice module to specify the invoice details that will be sent to your customer. The default or custom template set up in your invoice settings will be used to send the invoice automatically from workflows.

How to Configure

  1. Select the Action: Choose "Send Invoice" from the list of available actions in your workflow.
  2. Select "From User": Pick the user who will appear as the sender of the invoice.
  3. Choose the Invoice Template: Select the appropriate template for the invoice.
  4. Select the Toggle for Live or Test: Decide whether the invoice should be sent in live mode or as a test.

Example: Send an Invoice When Opportunity Status Changes

Trigger

  • Opportunity Status Changed: Add a trigger based on the change of opportunity status and select the pipeline you wish to use for this workflow.

Action

  • Send Invoice: Configure the action so that it sends the invoice automatically to the contact when triggered.

Outcome
