Action Description

This action allows you to assign manual sales to a specific affiliate within the chosen affiliate campaigns. Commissions are calculated according to the campaign's default commission settings and are assigned to the affiliate accordingly.

How to Configure

Using Attribution Tracking

  1. Select the Action
    Choose Add Manual Sales for an Affiliate from the actions list.

  2. Toggle On Auto-Track Affiliate via Attribution
    Enable this option to automatically assign revenue to the correct affiliate based on the affiliate ID in the passed URL. This eliminates the need to create separate branches for each affiliate.

    • Select Attribution Type: Decide whether to use First or Latest attribution.

    Note on Attribution:

    • First Attribution: This is the initial interaction a contact has with the system, capturing attribution data for that session (e.g., filling out a form).
    • Latest Attribution: This records the most recent interaction (e.g., purchasing a product), updating the attribution data for that session.
  3. Choose the Affiliate Campaign
    Select the desired affiliate campaign from the dropdown menu.

  4. Enter Revenue and Details
    Input the sales amount for the affiliate. Optionally, include the Event date (when the sale occurred) and Event ID (reference ID, transaction ID).

  5. Save Action

Without Attribution Tracking

  1. Select the Action
    Choose Add Manual Sales for an Affiliate from the actions list.

  2. Choose the Affiliate Campaign and Affiliate
    Select the affiliate campaign. The affiliate dropdown will then display only affiliates associated with the selected campaign.

  3. Enter Revenue and Details
    Input the sales amount for the affiliate. Optionally, include the Event date (when the sale occurred) and Event ID (reference ID, transaction ID).

  4. Save Action

  • Trigger: Form Submitted
    Affiliates share links to the form with potential leads. The form is part of an affiliate campaign.

  • Action: Add Manual Sales for an Affiliate
    Add this action and enable "Auto Track Affiliate via Attribution" to automatically map leads to affiliates.

  • Outcome:
    When a lead fills out the form using a valid link, the action automatically assigns the lead to the affiliate, ensuring the commission is paid to the correct affiliate. This process removes the need for multiple workflow branches.
