Manual Payment Support for Forms & Surveys

Overview

With Stack, you can now accept manual payments through forms and surveys. This feature is perfect for businesses that want to offer offline payment options while keeping track of order statuses effortlessly.

Available Payment Types

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): Customers pay in cash when they receive their order.
  • Custom Payment Methods: Includes options like bank transfers, checks, card payments, or any other offline payment methods you prefer.

How It Works

1. Enable Manual Payments

To start using manual payments, go to:

Payments > Integrations > Manual Payment Methods

Here, you can enable either COD or Custom Payment Methods based on your needs. You can also customize the description and post-purchase message for each payment type to ensure clarity for your customers.

2. Automatic Display in Forms & Surveys

Once manual payments are enabled, any product added to a form or survey will automatically show the manual payment option during the payment selection process.

3. Order Processing & Payment Collection

When a customer submits a form selecting manual payment, the order will appear under:

Payments > Orders

It will initially have a "Pending" status. You can then mark the order as paid and select the appropriate payment mode (such as cash, card, check, or bank transfer). Any updates to the payment status will automatically sync with the Form Submissions section.

Benefits & Use Cases

  • Greater Payment Flexibility: Offers a range of offline payment options to suit different customer preferences.
  • Seamless Order Tracking: Manage orders and payments easily within a unified dashboard.
  • Automatic Synchronization: Payment status updates are reflected in both the Orders and Submissions sections.
  • Ideal for Cash-Based Businesses: Perfect for businesses dealing primarily with cash or other offline transactions.

By enabling manual payments, you can broaden your payment options and enhance the purchasing experience for your customers using forms and surveys on Stack.
