Why Are There Different Page Versions?​

In October 2021, Stack introduced an upgrade to the page builders for Websites and Funnels, enhancing how they work with products. Pages created before this update are considered Version 1, while those created after are labeled as "Version 2". If you're new to Stack, you're already using the latest and fastest version, Version 2.

Why Upgrade to Version 2?​

Upgrading your funnels to Version 2 unlocks several benefits:

  • Global Products: Seamlessly use products across funnels, websites, calendars, and invoices.
  • PayPal Support: Easily integrate PayPal into your payment options.
  • One-Step Order Form: Simplify the purchasing process for your customers.
  • Web Chat Widget: Install with just one click to enhance customer interaction.

How to Upgrade to a Version 2 Funnel​

  1. Integrate Stripe Connect:

    • If you're using the older Stripe integration, navigate to the Payments tab, select Integrations, and add Stripe Connect.

  2. Access Your Funnel:

    • Go to Sites > Funnels and open the funnel you wish to upgrade.

  3. Migrate Your Funnel:

    • Click on the Migrate button and confirm to upgrade your funnel.

What to Expect After the Upgrade​

  • Visual Consistency: Your pages will look the same post-upgrade.
  • Product Management: Products move to the Payments tab, but your funnel payment settings remain unchanged.
  • Sales Data: The sales tab in Version 2 funnels links to the Order/Sales tab in Payments, displaying all previous sales data.
  • Test/Live Modes: These settings will stay consistent, and products will be available in both Stripe and PayPal environments if integrated.

Can I migrate all funnels to Version 2 in one click?

Currently, you need to upgrade each funnel individually by selecting the migration option within each one.

Can I switch back to Version 1 later?

Switching back is not possible. Version 2 offers enhanced management of products and transactions, providing a better experience.

How long does it take to migrate the funnel to the newer version?

The migration process is quick, typically completing in just a few seconds.

Can I use PayPal with Version 1 funnels?

No, PayPal is only supported with Version 2 funnels.
