Understanding Website and Funnel Versions in Stack

What Do Different Funnel/Website Versions Mean?

In October 2021, Stack introduced an upgrade to our page builders for Websites and Funnels. This upgrade changed how these pages interact with products. Here's what you need to know:

  • Version 1: Pages built before October 2021. These are not labeled as Version 1 but are considered as such.
  • Version 2: Pages built after October 2021. These are clearly labeled "Version 2".

If you've recently joined Stack, you'll only see Version 2. Rest assured, you're using the fastest and most up-to-date version.

Main Differences Between Version 1 and Version 2

Version 1 pages were built on our original system builder. Version 2 pages come with several enhancements, including:

  • PayPal Payment Processing: Easily integrate PayPal for transactions.
  • One-Step Order Form: Streamline the checkout process.
  • Centralized Sales Transactions: All sales transactions are visible in the "Payments" tab within your system.
  • Digital Product Management: Create digital products in the payments section and apply them to order forms on your website or funnel steps.

Additional Features in Version 2

  1. Import Products from Stripe: Seamlessly bring in products from your Stripe account.
  2. Create New Products: Develop new products that can be applied directly to order forms on your website or funnel steps.

How Do I Upgrade a Version 1 Page to Version 2?

Upgrading your pages is simple:

  1. Click on "Copy" for the page you want to upgrade.
  2. Select your location (or up to three other locations).
  3. Once a location is selected, the "Clone Funnel" button will become active.
  4. Click "Clone" to complete the upgrade.

Your website or funnel is now upgraded to Version 2, ensuring you have access to the latest features and improvements.
