Enhanced Form Builder Features in Stack

Discover the new enhancements in Stack's form builder, designed to give you greater flexibility and control over your form designs.

What's New​

Layout Options​

  • Single Column Layout: This classic layout arranges all fields vertically, one below the other.
  • Two Column Layout: Previously known as inline forms, this layout lets you place fields side-by-side in two columns, creating a balanced and compact form structure.
  • Single Line Layout: Add up to 5 fields in a single horizontal line for a streamlined, minimalist design.

Field Width​

  • Field Width in Percentage: Set the width of form fields as a percentage of the available form width. This feature ensures that fields scale proportionally, providing a responsive design and enhancing creativity.

How to Use​

  1. Navigate to the form builder section in your Stack dashboard.
  2. Choose your preferred layout: Single Column, Two Column, or Single Line.
  3. Customize your form using the Field Width setting to control the size of each field.

Notes​

  • When opening old forms in the builder, they will automatically select either the One Column or Two Column Layout based on previous inline form settings.
  • Old forms in preview will continue to function and respect the previous Inline Form Settings.
  • Single line forms can accommodate up to 5 fields.
