Using Products in Payment Element in Forms
Enhance your form experience with Stack's new feature: Products in Forms. This update allows you to effortlessly add products to your forms, offering improved customization and layout options.
What's New
- Payment Type: Choose to either sell a product or collect a custom amount directly from your forms.
- Product Selection: Easily select products, add descriptions and images, and choose from various layouts.
- Variants: Select different variants available for each product.
- Inventory Management: Product quantities are managed according to your inventory.
- Tax Calculation: Automatically include tax calculations when a product is purchased.
How to Use
- Navigate to the Integrations section and find the Payment element.
- Drag and drop the payment element onto your form canvas.
- Connect your payment gateway.
- Toggle between live and test modes as needed.
- Click Add Product to choose from available options.
- Customize product details, such as description, image, and layout.
- Personalize the appearance by selecting themes and styling options.
- Save your changes and preview the form to see your products in action.

Customizations
- Add up to 20 products to your form.

Tracking Payments
- Upon form submission, details such as payment amount, order ID, and payment status are recorded.
- Click on the Order ID to view order details.
- Export these details using the export options.
Email Notifications
- Receive email notifications reflecting the payment status and amount.
Workflow Trigger
- Use the "Payment received" trigger with "Forms" as the source to automate workflows.
Important Notes
- Recurring products are currently not supported.
- NMI and Authorize.net require the First Name field when using the payment element.
- Refund amounts are not captured at this time.
- The old API-based Stripe connect is no longer supported.
- Payment elements will not display in calendars with custom form payment elements.
- Multi-payments with multi-native forms are not yet supported in funnels.
- Undo/Redo functionality is not supported with the payment element.
