How to Preview Your Blog Post in Stack
Congratulations on completing your blog post! Before sharing it with the world, it's a great idea to preview how it looks on both desktop and mobile devices. This guide will walk you through previewing your blog post within the Stack builder.
Important Note
Once your blog is published, you won't be able to update the Category, Keywords, Author, and Slug. Our developers are working on a solution to enable these updates in the future.
What's Visible in Preview Mode
When you preview your blog post, you'll see:
- Clickable Elements: All hyperlinks, videos, and author details are interactive.
- Featured Image: The image set for SEO purposes.
- Blog Post Title: Clearly displayed at the top.
- Category: Visible if added during the publishing process.
- Publish Date: The date when the blog is set to go live.
- Read Time: An estimate of how long it will take to read the post.
- Content: The main body of your blog post.
- Tags: If added during publishing, these will be visible.
- Author: Displayed if specified during publishing.
- Back to Blog Button: Note that this button is not functional in preview mode.
How to Preview Your Blog Post
- Access the Preview Menu: Click on the three dots located in the top-right corner of the builder menu.
- Select "Preview Post": This will open the preview mode for your blog post.
Switching Between Mobile and Desktop Views
In preview mode, you can easily toggle between mobile and desktop views:
- Look for the view switch button at the top of the preview screen.
- Click to switch between mobile and desktop views, allowing you to see how your post will appear on different devices.
