Enhancing Your Blog with Search and Category Navigation

Improving your blog's search functionality and category navigation can significantly enhance user experience and boost your SEO. These features allow visitors to easily explore and understand your content. Here's how you can add search and category navigation to your blog in Stack.

Adding Category Navigation​

  1. Access Your Blog:

    • Navigate to Sites > Blogs in your Stack dashboard.

  2. Select Your Blog:

    • From the list of blogs, click on the name of the blog you wish to edit.

  3. Edit the Blog Site:

    • In the blog list view, select the option to Edit the Site.

  4. Add Category Navigation:

    • In the blog site editor, locate the Elements section.
    • Find the Category Navigation element.
    • Drag and drop the Category Navigation element into your desired location on the page.

  5. Customize Categories:

    • Click on a category, such as "Category 1", to edit its name.
    • Link the category to the relevant blog posts.
    • Repeat this process for any additional categories you wish to include.
  • Within the blog editor, you will find an option to enable or disable the Blog Search feature. Toggle this setting to suit your needs.

By following these steps, you can create a more organized and accessible blog, making it easier for your audience to find the content they are interested in.
