Adding Authors to Your Blog in Stack

In Stack, each blog post can be attributed to an author, such as a marketer, contributor, or content specialist. Before assigning an author to a blog post, you'll need to add them to the Blog Builder. This guide will walk you through the process.

Important Note: Once a blog is published, the Category, Keywords, Author, and Slug cannot be changed. Our developers are working on a solution to allow future updates.

How to Add Authors in the Blog Builder​

  1. Navigate to the Sites section in your Stack dashboard.
  2. Select Blogs and then click on Settings (the cog icon).
  3. On the left side, click on the Author tab.
  4. Click on + Add new author.
  5. Enter the following details for your author:
    • Author Name
    • Photo: Ensure the image is no larger than 10MB.
    • Image Alt Text
    • Social Pages: Add links to the author's social media profiles.
    • Author Description: Provide a brief bio or description of the author.
  6. Once you've entered all the necessary information, click on + Create Author to finalize the addition.

Now your author is ready to be selected for any new blog posts you create!
