Getting Started with User Permissions
To manage user permissions in your Stack sub-account:
- Navigate to Settings > My Staff.
- Click the edit icon next to the user whose permissions you wish to modify.
- Select Roles & Permissions from the left menu.
Restrict Visibility to Assigned Data
For users with the 'User' role, you can limit their access to only the data assigned to them. This is useful if you have multiple team members and want to ensure they only see their own leads or contacts. Simply choose the Only assigned data option.
Assigning User Roles
Decide whether the user should have an Admin or User role based on their responsibilities and the level of access they require.
Assigning Permissions
As a sub-account admin, you have the ability to set detailed permissions for your users:
- Module Level: Toggle off a module to completely restrict access to it.
- Granular Level: Use checkboxes to fine-tune permissions at a more detailed level.
The new permissions structure is designed to be compatible with previous permission settings, ensuring a smooth transition.
Copying Permissions
Easily replicate a user’s permissions to another user. For instance, if a new team member joins, you can duplicate an existing member's permissions to streamline the setup process.
Stay tuned for more updates as Stack continues to enhance its permission controls for even greater flexibility and precision.
