Getting Started with User Permissions
To manage user permissions in Stack:
- Navigate to Settings > Team.
- Click the edit icon next to the user whose permissions you wish to modify.
- Select Roles & Permissions from the left menu.
Assigning User Type and Role
- User Type: Choose whether the user is associated with the entire agency or a specific sub-account.
- Role: Decide if the user should be an admin or a standard user.
Restrict Access to Specific Sub-Accounts
You can assign users to specific sub-accounts, limiting their access to only those accounts. For instance, if Alex is assigned to '78th Avenue' and 'A Mailbox NYC', he will not have access to 'Baker's Inn'.
Assign Permissions
Stack allows you to set permissions at two levels:
- Module Level: Toggle a module off to completely restrict access.
- Granular Level: Use checkboxes to fine-tune permissions within a module.
The permissions structure is compatible with previous versions, ensuring a smooth transition.
Copy Permissions
Easily duplicate a user’s permissions to another user. For example, if Bob joins the sales team, you can replicate Alex’s permissions to Bob for consistency.
Note: Stack is expanding its capabilities with more advanced permission controls. Stay updated for future enhancements!
