In Stack, you can now integrate GA4 tracking within your CRM account. This integration allows you to monitor and analyze user interactions across different channels, such as websites, mobile apps, and social media.

Setting Up Google Analytics 4 in Workflows
Stack's CRM workflow actions support both Google Analytics 4 and Universal Analytics. This flexibility allows you to choose the platform that best fits your needs for tracking marketing campaigns and website traffic.
Create or Use an Existing Google Analytics Workflow
- In your Google Analytics Workflow, select the action Add to Google Analytics.
- From the Action Type dropdown, choose Google Analytics 4.
Obtain a Measurement ID from Your Google Analytics Data Stream
- Log in to your Google Analytics account.
- Navigate to Admin ➝ Account Settings ➝ Data Stream and select your Data Stream.
- Copy the Measurement ID for your desired Data Stream.
- Paste this Measurement ID into the Measurement ID field in your Google Analytics Action within the workflow.
Create a Google Analytics Event to Track
- Add the event name you wish to track. This name will appear in your Google Analytics dashboard alongside other standard events.
- Refer to Google's event naming rules for guidance.
Retrieve an API Secret Value from Your Data Stream
- In your Google Analytics account, go to Admin ➝ Account Settings ➝ Data Stream ➝ Select the Data Stream ➝ Measurement Protocol API secrets.
- Before creating an API Secret, ensure you've read and understood Google's privacy disclosures regarding user data collection.
- Click Create if no API Secret exists.
- Name your API Secret and click Create to generate a Secret Value.
- Copy the Secret Value and paste it into the API Secret field in the Google Analytics action in your Workflow.
Note: Ensure there are no spaces before or after the API Secret value when pasting it into the workflow's field to avoid errors.
Final Steps
- Save Action and then Save the Workflow.
- Publish the workflow when you're ready to use it.
