How Brand Approval Works

The approval process begins with The Campaign Registry's primary vetting of your brand. Stack will automatically submit your brand for secondary vetting, which is an additional review that can enhance your messaging limits. Once completed, you'll receive a Trust Score that determines your messaging throughput and daily message limits to US networks like T-Mobile.

How to Maximize Your Trust Score

To ensure your brand is approved and you receive an accurate Trust Score, it's crucial to submit your business data correctly. Here are some best practices:

Use a Valid EIN for US-Based Companies

  • EIN Requirement: For US companies, use an EIN, not a DUNS number, for Standard A2P 10DLC brand registration.
  • Legal Company Name: Enter your legal company name exactly as registered with the IRS, found on the CP 575 EIN Confirmation Letter. If misplaced, request a 147c letter from the IRS.

Use a Valid Tax ID for Companies Outside the US

  • International Tax ID: Provide a valid Tax ID from your country for Standard A2P 10DLC brand registration. Additional vetting may be required for businesses outside the US/Canada.

Guidance for Companies in Canada

  • Business Number (BN): Use only the first 9 numeric digits of your BN for Canadian Brand Registration.

Guidance for Companies in Other Regions

  • Europe: Use the VIES VAT number validation.
  • Australia: Use the Australian Business Number (ABN) with the official ABN Lookup tool.
  • New Zealand: Use the New Zealand Business Number (NZBN) with the official NZBN lookup tool.
  • Hong Kong: Use your Companies Registry (CN) number with the official CN lookup tool.

Common Customer Errors for EIN/Tax ID

  • Incorrect Business Name: Ensure the legal name matches exactly with IRS or equivalent tax authority records.
  • Invalid EIN/Tax ID: Enter the correct number for your country.
  • DUNS Number for US Companies: Do not use a DUNS number for US-based brand registration.

Further Recommendations

  • Business Address: Ensure your business address matches official registration records to avoid a lower Trust Score.
  • Supported Stock Exchanges: Ensure stock ticker symbols match available sources.
