Subscription & Refund Triggers for Payments
With enhanced triggers for payments, Stack users gain greater control over automations linked to lead conversion processes. In addition to existing triggers like Payment Received, Order Submitted, and Invoice, Stack now supports two new triggers:
Subscription Trigger
This trigger automates processes related to subscription status changes:
- Subscription Creation: Initiates when a customer subscribes.
- Trial to Active Transition: Engages when a subscription moves from trial to active status.
- Subscription Cancellation: Activates upon cancellation of a subscription.
You can use subscription status filters to create conditional workflows based on status changes or the specific product associated with the subscription. Additionally, leverage custom values within the Payments section to enhance your automation processes.
Refund Trigger
This trigger facilitates automations around refund transactions processed by you or your sales team. Trigger workflows based on:
- Refund Outcome: Whether the refund was successful or failed.
- Refund Amount: Whether the refund was full or partial.
- Refund Details: Amount or source of the refund.
Refund custom values are available in the Payments section, allowing you to send tailored notifications for various scenarios.
Integration Compatibility
These triggers are compatible with integrations such as Stripe, Authorize.net, and NMI found under Payments > Integrations. For PayPal, the trigger currently only activates upon subscription creation. Full functionality for PayPal will be available soon.
