Step-by-Step Guide: Creating Pipelines in Stack

Pipelines are essential for automating and streamlining your business processes in Stack. Whether you're managing leads, nurturing prospects, or closing deals, creating pipelines can significantly boost your efficiency and effectiveness. This guide will walk you through the steps to create pipelines in Stack.

Step 1: Accessing the Pipelines Section

  1. Navigate to your Subaccount.
  2. Click on Opportunities from the left sidebar.
  3. Select Pipelines from the top menu.

Step 2: Creating a New Pipeline

  1. In the Pipelines section, click on the Create Pipeline button.
  2. Enter a descriptive name for your pipeline that reflects its purpose or the stage of the customer journey it represents. Remember, pipeline names must be unique, so ensure no duplicates.

Step 3: Adding Stages to Your Pipeline

  1. Once your new pipeline is created, you'll see an empty canvas where you can begin adding stages.
  2. Enter the name of the first stage of your pipeline.
  3. Click on the Add Stage button to create more stages. Repeat this process to build out the sequential flow of your pipeline.
  4. You can reorder the stages using the up and down arrows next to the stage name.

Note: You don't need to create stages for "Won" or "Lost" as Stack automatically includes these in every pipeline.

Step 4: Configuring Pipeline Actions and Dashboard

  • Use the funnel and pie chart icons to decide whether the pipeline should be displayed on the dashboard.
  • Configure the visibility of each stage in the dashboard funnel and pie charts by clicking the icons to the right of the respective stage.
