Understanding Opportunity Statuses
Open
Opportunities marked as "Open" are actively being pursued. They represent potential deals that are still in progress and viable for conversion.
Won
The "Won" status indicates a successful conversion into a sale or deal. It's applied when a lead has made a purchase or signed a contract, contributing to revenue.
Lost
Opportunities with a "Lost" status represent deals that did not conclude successfully. This occurs when a lead decides not to proceed with a purchase or selects a competitor's offering.
Abandoned
The "Abandoned" status is used when an opportunity has been neglected or disregarded, either by the lead or the sales team. It signifies that no further action or follow-up is planned.
Note: Opportunity status types and names are fixed. You can only choose from the four available types.
