Pay for Service Appointments in the Mobile App POS

We're excited to introduce the latest update to mobile payments in Stack: the integration of our POS with service calendars. Now, for service appointments with a deposit recorded, you can easily collect the remaining balance using Tap to Pay and other POS features. This seamless update is available on Stack and other whitelabel apps.

What's New

  • View Amount Inside Calendar Events:

    • Navigate to the Appointments section in the mobile app.
    • Tap on the event card of a service appointment to see the amount due for that service.
  • View Invoice:

    • Access the associated invoice directly from the event card.
    • Edit the invoice to include additional costs if extra items were used or if the service exceeded the allotted time.
  • Record Payment:

    • Record payments directly from the appointment event using Tap to Pay, Card, Cash, or Manual Entry.

How It Works

  1. Open the mobile app and ensure you're in the correct subaccount.
  2. Go to the Calendars section.
  3. Tap on the event to view details.
  4. You'll see the amount due along with two options: View Invoice and Record Payment.
    • View Invoice: Opens the invoice with an option to edit.
    • Record Payment: Opens the payment instruments screen.
  5. Choose Tap to Pay or another preferred method to record the payment.

Why It Matters

This update connects two major modules in the mobile app—calendars and POS—providing a simple and smooth payment collection process.
