Creating Invoices in Stack (Mobile App)
Overview
With Stack, you can effortlessly send invoices to your customers using the products you've set up in your account. This guide will walk you through creating, editing, and managing invoices directly from the Stack mobile app.
How to Create a New Invoice
- Tap the three lines in the top left corner of the app to open the menu and select the Invoicing tab.
- Click the "+" button to start creating a new invoice.
Note: To add global terms of service or notes, tap the gear wheel icon in the top right. You can also add terms specific to an invoice in the "Terms" step.
How to Edit Your Invoice Info

Add Client and Dates: Start by adding the client and setting the issue and due dates for the invoice.
Note: Currently, the mobile app does not support editing the "from info", image, or invoice number.

Add Products: Tap "+ Add Item" to include products from your products tab. You can also create a new product if needed.

Edit Details: After adding a product, you can modify its price and quantity.
How to Add Taxes to Your Invoice
- On the "Add Item" page, select "Taxes" and check the boxes next to the applicable tax options.
- Alternatively, use the "+ Add Taxes" button on the "Edit Item" page to choose your tax options.
How to Add a Discount to Your Invoice
- To apply a discount, click on the "Discount" tab and adjust the amount using the slider.
How to Send Your Invoice

Preview and Send: After previewing the invoice, you can send it to your client using the buttons at the bottom. Choose to test the invoice on the left or send the live invoice on the right.

Delivery Options: You can send the invoice via email and/or text message.
How to Check the Status of Your Invoices

Navigate to the Invoicing tab to view your list of invoices. They are color-coded by status: Draft, Due, and Overdue.

Use the search function or filter invoices by status and date range to find specific invoices.
Note: The mobile app does not include a transaction tab.
