Enabling Cross-Site Tracking (3rd Party Cookies) in Safari on MacOS

To ensure a seamless experience with Stack, you might need to enable cross-site tracking in Safari on MacOS. Follow these simple steps to adjust your settings:

Launch Safari

  1. Open Safari: Click on the Safari icon in your dock. Alternatively, press Cmd + Space to open Spotlight, type "Safari," and select the application from the search results.

Access Safari Preferences

  1. Open Preferences: In the top menu bar, click on Safari and choose Preferences from the drop-down menu. You can also press Cmd + , (comma) as a shortcut to open the Preferences window directly.

Open the Privacy Tab

  1. Navigate to Privacy: In the Preferences window, click on the Privacy tab at the top.

Customize Website Tracking Options

  1. Adjust Tracking Settings: Within the Privacy tab, you'll find options related to website tracking. By default, Safari blocks cross-site tracking. To enable it, simply uncheck the box next to Prevent cross-site tracking.

Close Preferences

  1. Save and Exit: After making your changes, close the Preferences window to save your settings.
