As a course creator in Stack, you have the flexibility to choose specific frames from your uploaded videos to use as thumbnails for your lessons and videos. This feature allows you to create visually appealing and relevant thumbnails effortlessly.

How to Select a Video Frame as a Thumbnail

Follow these simple steps to set a video frame as your lesson thumbnail:

  1. Upload Your Video

    • Begin by uploading your video to the desired section within your course.
  2. Select Your Preferred Frame

    • Play the video and pause it at the frame you wish to use as your thumbnail.
  3. Set the Frame as Thumbnail

    • Click on the option labeled "Use current frame as thumbnail". This action will set the paused frame as the thumbnail for your lesson.
  4. Save Your Changes

    • Ensure you click Save to confirm your selection. Once saved, the chosen frame will be displayed as the thumbnail for both the lesson and the video.

Additional Tips

  • If you decide to change the thumbnail, simply repeat the steps above starting from uploading the video.
  • To use a different image as a lesson thumbnail that is not from the video, you can upload a separate image manually.
