How to Enable, Hide, and Lock Comments
Enable Comments for All Lessons Within a Category
- Navigate to the Products tab.
- Select an existing product or create a new one.
- Click on the Comments section.
- Choose the category where you want to enable, hide, or lock comments.
Enable Comments for Selected Lessons Within a Category
- Go to the Products tab.
- Choose an existing product or create a new one.
- Access the Comments section.
- Select the specific lessons within a category where you want to manage comments.
Filtering Between Products
Easily switch between different products to manage comments by using the filter options available in the Products tab.
Understanding Comment Features
- Enabled: The comment box is visible, showing existing comments and allowing students to add new ones.
- Hidden: The comment box is not visible, and existing comments are not displayed.
- Locked: Students cannot add new comments, but existing comments remain visible.
Managing Comments for All Products
Access the comments manager through the Products tab:
- Click Products.
- Select Manage Comments.
Change Comments Visibility from User Only to Public
- In the Comments Manager, locate the comment you want to modify.
- Use the drop-down menu to select User Only or Public.
- User Only: Visible to the course creator and the student who posted the comment.
- Public: Visible to all students and the course creator.
Deleting and Restoring Comments
Deleting a Comment
- Go to Products.
- Select Manage Comments.
- Find the comment you wish to delete.
- Click Delete.
Restoring a Deleted Comment
- Access Products.
- Click Manage Comments.
- Navigate to the Deleted tab.
- Find the comment you want to restore.
- Click Restore.
