What are Membership Assessments/Quizzes?

Assessments, or quizzes, are short tests integrated into membership courses to evaluate learner progress. They support various question types and pass/fail rules, enhancing your course with interactive testing and feedback.

Setting Up Assessments in a Membership Course

Follow these steps to create and publish assessments in your course. Customize quizzes with questions and scoring rules to fit your needs.

  1. Go to Memberships in the left-side menu.
  2. Select Products from the top dropdown under Courses to access your course library.

Adding an Assessment

  1. Inside the course, expand the Product Structure to organize lessons and assessments.
  2. Click the plus icon next to any category or subcategory.
  3. Select Add Assessment to create a new quiz or assignment.

Choosing Assessment Type

  • Quiz: Auto-graded questions to test knowledge.
  • Assignment: Tasks requiring file uploads or open-ended responses.

Managing Assessment Settings

  • Edit: Use the pencil icon to configure content and settings.
  • Visibility: Change status to Published, Draft, or Locked.
  • Customization: Add instructions, upload templates, and set confirmation messages.

Quiz Editor

  • Title: Enter a visible name for learners.
  • Passing Grade: Enable if you want to set a required score.
  • Feedback: Use Pass/Fail Confirmation Messages to provide personalized feedback.
  • Add Questions: Build your quiz with single-choice or multiple-choice questions.

Save, Draft, and Publish

Use the top-right buttons to manage your assessment's visibility. Always remember to save your changes.

Post-Submission Process

Understand what happens after a learner submits a quiz:

  • With Passing Grade: Learners see their score and which answers were correct.
  • Without Passing Grade: They also see the correct answers and explanations.
  • Retakes: Learners can review and retake quizzes to reinforce learning.

Analyzing Assessment Results

Track performance and engagement with the Assessments Analytics feature.

  1. Navigate to Memberships > Analytics > Assessments.
  2. View submissions sorted by quiz.
  3. Filter results by Product or Passed/Failed status.
  4. Click the eye icon to view individual answers and scores.
