Managing Contacts in a Stack Community
What Happens When You Delete a Contact
When a Contact is a Group Member
Deleting a contact from a Stack community results in their permanent removal from the community. This action revokes all their access to the community's content and features. Consequently, they will no longer be able to:
- View posts, updates, or discussions
- Participate in posting or interacting within the community
This deletion is irreversible, meaning the individual is completely cut off from all community activities and communications.
When a Contact is a Group Owner
If the contact is the owner of a group or location within the community, they cannot be deleted. Ownership grants them a level of authority and control that ensures the continuity and management of those areas. Therefore, any attempt to delete such an individual will be blocked, preserving their access and responsibilities.
