Getting Started

Accessing Member Approval Questions

To access the Member Approval Questions, navigate to Settings > Member Questions in your Stack account.

Enabling Member Approval Questions

Enable the member questions feature by toggling the Enable Member Questions button. Once enabled, new members will receive the questions you set up to answer during their request to join.

Creating Approval Questions

Adding Questions

To add questions for new members:

  1. Click on Add Questions.
  2. You can add up to a maximum of 3 questions.
  3. Ensure each option within a question is unique.

Choosing Question Types

Select the appropriate type for each question:

  • Text Box: For open-ended responses.
  • Single Select: For choosing one option from a list.
  • Multi Select: For selecting multiple options.

Managing Member Responses

Accessing Responses

Regularly check and manage member responses by going to the People Tab and selecting the Requested Filter.

Approving or Rejecting Membership

To approve or decline a membership request:

  1. Navigate to the Requested Filter to view all pending membership requests.
  2. Click on the three dots next to a member's request.
  3. Select Membership Answers and choose to Approve or Decline based on their responses.
