Inviting Members via Link in Stack

Inviting members to your groups in Stack is now easier than ever with Invite Links. This feature allows you to extend invitations seamlessly. Here's how you can create and use Invite Links to welcome new members to your group.

You can generate unique invite links directly from the invite page. Follow these simple steps to create an Invite Link:

  1. Navigate to the 'People' Tab:

    • Go to your group and click on the 'People' tab.

  2. Select 'Invite':

    • Click on the 'Invite' option.

  3. Generate an Invitation Link:

    • Choose 'Invitation link' to create a unique link for your group.

Once you've generated the invite link, sharing it is straightforward:

  1. Copy the Link:

    • Simply copy the generated invite link.

  2. Share the Link:

    • You can distribute the link through various channels. Whether it's via email, messaging apps, social media, or any other method, you can reach potential members both inside and outside the system.

What Invited Members Can Expect​

When members receive an invitation via an invite link, here's what they need to do:

  1. Click the Invite Link:

    • Open the link you received in your invitation.

  2. Interact with the Pop-up Modal:

    • A personalized pop-up modal will appear with the following options:

    • Sign Up: Create a new account if you're not already a member.

    • Log In: Use your existing credentials if you already have an account.

Note: For private groups, the standard approval process still applies. This ensures that only approved members can join, maintaining the group's security and integrity.
