Setting up Gamification
Gamification levels in Stack are pre-defined, with a maximum of 9 levels. Each level can be customized with unique names to better fit your community's theme.
How Levels and Points Work
Points are the heart of Stack's gamification. Here's how you can earn them:
- 1 like on your posts, comments, or replies equals 1 point.
Points Required for Each Level
- Level 1: 0 points
- Level 2: 5 points
- Level 3: 20 points
- Level 4: 65 points
- Level 5: 155 points
- Level 6: 515 points
- Level 7: 2015 points
- Level 8: 8015 points
- Level 9: 33015 points
Progression and Badges
- Your profile badge will update to reflect your current level.
- You can view how many points are needed to reach the next level.
- A circular progress bar shows your advancement as you earn more points.
Note: Levels are specific to each group. If you join a new group, you will start at Level 1.
Leaderboard
The leaderboard allows you to see how your points compare to other members in your group. It provides insights into which courses unlock at specific levels and displays custom level names for each group.
- View top point earners over the past 7 days, 30 days, and overall.
Rewards
While rewards in Stack are managed offline, they add an exciting dimension to gamification. Group owners can add up to three text-based rewards. For example, "Win $50 after reaching Level 5."
Note: Currently, rewards are not directly linked to gamification levels and must be managed offline.
Enjoy exploring and engaging with your community through Stack's gamification features!
