Trigger links in Stack are an effective way to redirect users to specific pages when they click on a link within SMS, Email, Google My Business (GMB), Facebook/Instagram Direct Messages, and WhatsApp. When a user clicks a trigger link, Stack records the action in the contact's activity timeline and initiates a predefined action within a workflow.

Trigger links can dynamically update URLs in your email campaigns. For example, if you have recurring promotions, you can set up a trigger link with a custom value pointing to the current promotion URL. This allows you to reuse email templates without manually updating links each time.

Create workflows that respond to trigger link clicks. For instance, if a contact clicks a trigger link in an appointment reminder email, Stack can record the click and trigger subsequent actions like sending a survey or review request.

Implement unsubscribe trigger links for SMS, Email, GMB, Facebook, and Instagram. When a contact clicks these links, they are unsubscribed from the respective channel, ensuring compliance with opt-out regulations and managing communication preferences effectively.

Note: Previous campaign links will not be retroactively updated. Ensure the "trigger link" is added to your SMS or Email message body to activate it upon clicking.
