YouTube is a powerhouse platform for content creators and marketers alike. It's not just about entertainment anymore; it's a vital tool for reaching audiences and promoting your brand. With Stack's Social Planner, scheduling your YouTube content is a breeze. Here's how you can do it:

Creating a YouTube Video or Short in Social Planner

  1. Navigate to Social Planner:

    • Go to Marketing > Social Planner within your Stack account.
  2. Connect Your YouTube Account:

    • Use Google Integrations to connect your YouTube account. Make sure to select the correct account.

    Tip: To check if your Google account has an associated YouTube channel, visit your YouTube account settings. If you don't see a channel listed, you'll have the option to create one.

  3. Create a New Post:

    • Click on Create New Post.
  4. Select Your YouTube Channel:

    • Choose the YouTube channel where you want to post your content.
  5. Craft Your Video Description:

    • Write a compelling caption. Don't forget to include relevant hashtags and emojis to engage your audience.
  6. Choose Content Type:

    • Decide whether you're posting a Video or a Short.
  7. Add a Title:

    • Enter a title for your YouTube Video or Short. Note: If you're posting a Short, the hashtag #shorts will automatically be added to the title.
  8. Set Privacy Settings:

    • Choose the privacy level for your content: Public, Private, or Unlisted.
  9. Add a Follow-up Comment:

    • If needed, include a follow-up comment to your post for additional context or engagement.
  10. Schedule Your Content:

    • Set the date and time for your YouTube Video or Short to be published.

Video and Short Dimensions for YouTube

  • File Size: Videos and Shorts can be up to 1GB.
  • Thumbnails: Use PNG or JPEG formats, with a maximum size of 2MB for verified users.
  • Shorts Specifications: Ensure your Shorts are 60 seconds or less and have a vertical aspect ratio, ideally 9:16.
