Types of Notifications

  • Account Expired: Alerts you when the tokens for your social accounts have expired.
  • Account Pre-Expiry: Notifies you to refresh your token around the 50th day, as social accounts like Facebook pages have a 60-day expiry period.
  • Request for Approval: Informs you when a scheduled post is awaiting your approval.
  • Post Approved: Updates the creator when a scheduled post has been approved.
  • Post Rejected: Updates the creator if a scheduled post was rejected.
  • Post Failed: Alerts selected users when a scheduled post fails to publish.

Managing Notifications in Social Planner

To manage your notifications, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Marketing > Social Planner.
  2. Click on the gear icon next to the "New Post" button to access Social Planner settings.
  3. Select the Notification tab to customize your preferences.

Account Pre-Expiry Notification

  • Click the pencil icon to edit.
  • Choose which users should receive reminders to refresh the token. Tokens can be refreshed on the integration page.
  • Select a custom email template if desired.

Account Expired Notification

  • Click the pencil icon to edit.
  • Choose which users should be reminded to reconnect the token.
  • Select a custom email template if desired.

Request for Approval Notification

  • Click the pencil icon to edit.
  • Select a custom email template if desired.

Approved Post Notification

  • Click the pencil icon to edit.
  • Select a custom email template if desired.

Rejected Post Notification

  • Click the pencil icon to edit.
  • Select a custom email template if desired.

To change the default email template:

  1. Go to Emails > Template.
  2. Click on the New option and select Email Marketing Template.
  3. In the template library, choose System Template from the left side to load and edit the content.

How Does the Pre-Expiry Notification Work?

The pre-expiry email notification triggers if enabled, warning you 90 days before a social account's token expires. A reminder is sent on the 80th day to ensure you refresh the token in time.
