Facebook Pages Not Showing in the List

To ensure your Facebook account is properly connected, make sure all necessary permissions are granted. Here are some common issues and solutions:

Content Permission Issues

If you have permission through Business Manager but still face issues, ensure you have admin rights to the Facebook page. Stack's Social Planner requires both content and insight permissions.

Steps to Resolve:

  1. Login to Facebook:

    • Sign in to your Facebook account.
    • Click on your profile icon and select your Facebook Page.
    • Navigate to your Facebook Page and click on Manage.
    • In the left panel, find Page Access.
    • Ensure you're listed with the highest permissions. If not, request the page owner/admin to grant you full access.
  2. Invite Admins:

    • If the page lacks someone with full access, invite another person as an admin.
    • Once they have full access, they can invite you with the necessary permissions.

Missing Facebook Pages

If some of your Facebook pages are missing in Stack, follow these steps:

  1. Check Facebook Settings:

    • Log in to your Facebook account.
    • Click on your profile picture and go to Settings and Privacy > Settings.
    • Navigate to Business Integration and find LeadConnector.
    • Click on View and Edit.
  2. Select All Pages:

    • Ensure all permissions are granted and all social channels are selected.
    • If any channels are unchecked, select them.
  3. Save and Reconnect:

    • Click Save after updating permissions.
    • Go to Settings in Social Planner and reconnect your Facebook pages.

Facebook Post Failed to Publish

Here are some common errors and their solutions:

  1. Abusive/Reported Content:

    • Your content might be flagged as abusive or against Facebook's Community Standards. Review your content for any violations.
  2. Error Validating Access Token:

    • This occurs if your session has expired, possibly due to a password change or inactivity. Reconnect your account in Stack.
  3. Two-Factor Authentication:

    • If enabled on your business page, ensure it's also enabled on your account. Reconnect your account afterwards.
  4. 'manage_permissions' Must Be Granted:

    • Ensure you have admin access and grant manage_permissions when connecting the account.
  5. Missing or Invalid Image:

    • Verify that the image link is valid and accessible.
  6. An Unknown Error Occurred:

    • Reconnect your pages and ensure all permissions are granted.
  7. Invalid URL:

    • If a link cannot be posted, try again after a few minutes as Facebook may need time to index it.
  8. Unable to Reconnect a Page/Group:

    • Use the same Facebook account that originally connected the page. If the token is expired, disconnect and reconnect the account in Stack's settings.

By following these steps, you should be able to resolve most Facebook publishing issues in Stack. If you continue to experience problems, feel free to reach out for further assistance!
