Message Templates (Snippets) in Stack
Message Snippets, also known as Templates, are a fantastic way to streamline responses to frequently asked questions (FAQs) from clients or customers. This guide will walk you through creating and using these snippets effectively.
How to Create a Message Template (Snippet)

Access Templates:
- Log into your Stack account and navigate to the Marketing section.
- Click on Templates (Snippets).

Add a New Template:
- Click the Add Template (Snippet) button.
- Choose Add Text Template (Snippet).

Name Your Snippet:
- Give your snippet a descriptive name, ideally matching the FAQ it addresses. For example, "Where are you located?" or "What are your operating hours?"

Compose Your Snippet:
- Write your message using Custom Values and Trigger Links if necessary. You can preview how it will appear as an SMS message on the right side.

Test Your Snippet:
- Enter your mobile number and click Send Test to see how your snippet looks in action.
- Note: Be mindful of the character count, number of segments, and the estimated cost when sending as an SMS.

Save Your Snippet:
- Once satisfied, click Save to store your snippet.
How to Use a Message Template (Snippet)

Insert a Snippet in Conversations:
- While in the Conversations section, start composing an SMS message.
- Click on the Insert Snippet icon.

Select and Use a Template:
- Choose the desired Snippet/Template from the dropdown menu.
- Click Use Template to insert it into your message.

Send Your Message:
- You can add additional text to the message or send it immediately by clicking Send.
By utilizing Message Snippets in Stack, you can respond to common inquiries swiftly, ensuring efficient and consistent communication with your clients.
