Scheduling email campaigns with batch delivery, also known as Drip Mode, allows you to send emails in timed segments rather than all at once. This approach helps manage traffic to your websites or funnels and reduces server load.
When setting up a batch email campaign in Stack, you can select a template, design your content, and configure settings for batch delivery. You can specify the batch size, as well as the days and times for sending.
Before You Start
Before you begin scheduling your batch email campaign, ensure the following:
- Email Template: Create an email template for your campaign.
- Domain Verification: Verify the domain from which you will be sending emails.
Creating an Email Campaign
To create a batch email campaign in Stack, follow these steps:
- Create Campaign: Click on the "Create Campaign" button.
- Select Template: Choose an email template for your marketing campaign. Use the preview option to review the template.
- Design Content: Use the Email Builder to design your content and add necessary elements. The builder allows you to work on different parts of your email and review everything before sending.
- Send or Schedule: Once your email is ready, choose to either send it immediately or schedule it.

Before sending your batch email campaign, complete the following:
- Recipients: Add recipients in the "To" section by selecting emails or smart lists.

Yes, you can edit the copy of an ongoing batch campaign by clicking "Update Email Content." Save your edits before the execution date. While updates are not guaranteed to reflect immediately, we strive to update the content before the server initiates the execution queue.
How can I reschedule an RSS email campaign?
You can reschedule campaigns set to Simple Schedule, Batch Schedule, or RSS Schedule up to one hour before the execution time. Navigate to Marketing > Email and find the campaign you wish to reschedule. Use the "Reschedule Campaign" option to adjust the schedule and delivery model, then save your changes.
What are the rate limits for sending emails?
Drip Mode:
- 30 sec - 1 min: 1,000 messages per minute
- 5 min: 4,999 messages per minute
- 6 min - 10 min: 5,000 messages per minute
- Above 10 min: 10,000 messages per minute
Add All at Once & Scheduled Time:
- Less than 10k contacts: 15k contacts per hour
