How to Preview Custom Fields in the Email Builder
With Stack's new functionality, you can now preview how custom fields will appear for your clients before sending out emails. This feature streamlines the testing process, eliminating the need for creating fake test cases and enhancing the efficiency of your email campaigns.
Steps to Preview Custom Fields

Navigate to Email Templates
- Go to the Marketing section and select Email Templates to start creating your personalized email.

Incorporate Custom Fields
- Within the Email Builder, add custom fields for your contacts according to your needs.

Access the Preview Template
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select Preview Template.

Select Preview Contact Info
- In the Preview screen, find and click on Preview Contact Info at the upper right corner.

Choose a Specific Contact
- By default, a contact's information will be shown. To preview the email for a specific contact, use the search bar to find and select the desired contact.

View the Email and Custom Fields

The contact's information and custom field data will appear on the right panel, while the email preview is on the left. This allows you to see exactly how the email will look to the selected contact.

Use the search bar again to preview the email for another contact if needed.
