Using the Event Start Date in a Campaign
The Event Start Date field is a powerful tool for creating automations centered around a specific date and time. By setting an Event Start Date, you can ensure that all actions within your campaign are triggered in relation to this specified moment.
Example Use Case
Imagine you're hosting a webinar on January 20th at 2 PM. You can configure your campaign with the Event Start Date set to this exact date and time. This allows you to automate reminders and notifications, such as:
- Sending an email reminder one day before the event.
- Dispatching a text message one hour before the webinar begins.
To achieve this, simply set the timing for these actions to "Before 1 day" and "Before 1 hour", respectively. This ensures your audience receives timely reminders, enhancing engagement and attendance.
