Connecting Your Facebook Business Account to Stack Ad Manager

Integrating your Facebook account with Stack's Ad Manager allows you to manage your advertising campaigns seamlessly. Here's how to get started:

Prerequisites

Setting Up Your Facebook Ads Account with Stack

  1. Access Ad Manager: Navigate to Marketing > Ad Manager in your Stack account.
  2. Connect Your Account: Click the option to Connect Now.
  3. Grant Permissions: You will be prompted to log in with your Facebook credentials and grant permissions to the LeadConnector app. Ensure all toggles are enabled and checkboxes are selected.

Selecting Business Pages

Once permissions are granted, choose the Facebook Business Pages you wish to connect. This is essential if you manage multiple pages.

Troubleshooting: Page Not Found

If your Facebook Business Page doesn't appear in Ad Manager, it might be due to missing permissions. Here's a checklist to ensure everything is set up correctly:

  • Admin Permissions: You must have admin privileges for the page you wish to connect. These can be managed in the Page Setup section of your Facebook page's professional dashboard.
  • Integration Permissions: Allow all permissions when connecting your Facebook Page to ensure smooth operation with Ad Manager.

Adjusting Permissions in Facebook

To manage permissions from your Facebook account:

  1. Sign In: Log into your Facebook account.
  2. Access Settings: Click the dropdown arrow in the top right, then select Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  3. Business Integrations: On the left, click Business Integrations.
  4. Manage Permissions: Find LeadConnector under the Active or Removed tabs. Click View and edit to adjust settings.

Required Granular Permissions

Ensure the following permissions are toggled ON:

  • Manage your business
  • Access leads for your Pages
  • Show a list of the Pages you manage
  • Manage ads for ad accounts you have access to

Click Save when finished. Note that removing mandatory permissions will disconnect your Facebook account, requiring reconnection to edit or start new campaigns. Existing campaigns will continue to run.

Managing Page Access

To ensure you have the correct admin permissions:

  1. Sign In: Use the Facebook account associated with your Pages.
  2. Access Pages: From your News Feed, click Pages in the left menu.
  3. Manage Page Access: Go to your Facebook page, click Manage, then Page Access.
  4. Add Admins: Begin typing a name or email, select the person, choose their role as Editor, and click Add. Confirm with your password.

Note: If the person you're adding isn't a Facebook friend, they must accept your invite to manage the page.
