Benefits of Using Instagram and Facebook Ads Together
Using Instagram ads alongside Facebook ads allows businesses to reach a broader and more diverse audience. Instagram is great for targeting a younger, visually-driven audience, while Facebook covers a wider age range. By combining both platforms, you maximize visibility and engagement through various ad formats like Instagram Stories and Facebook Carousel Ads. This cross-platform strategy enhances audience reach, engagement, and ad performance.
Connecting Your Instagram Account to a Facebook Page
To run ads on Instagram through Stack's Ad Manager, you need to connect your Instagram Business Account to your Facebook Page. Once connected, the Instagram account will be automatically selected whenever the Facebook page is chosen for ad publication.

Step 3: Verify the Connection in Meta Business Suite

Publishing Ads on Instagram
- On the Ad Manager home page, click on Create Campaign to start a Meta Ad campaign.
- Select a desired Facebook page (the default page will be selected but can be changed).
- Choose the Instagram account you want to use for the ad. There are two scenarios:
- A: If no Instagram account is connected to the selected Facebook page, choose Use Facebook page from the Instagram account dropdown. Your Instagram ad will use the name, profile picture, and other details from your Facebook Page.
- B: If an Instagram account is already linked, it will be automatically selected for publishing the ad campaign on Instagram.
- Select the desired ad placements in the manual placement section. If placements are set to Auto, all Instagram placements are selected.
- Add ad text, media, budget, audience, and other details for your campaign, then hit Publish to reach your audience on both Facebook and Instagram.
- Preview how your ad will appear on Instagram in the preview window by selecting the Instagram tab.
Reporting of Instagram Ads
Performance metrics for Instagram ads will be available in Stack's Ad Manager shortly after your ads begin running. These ads use the same reporting tools as Facebook ads, with combined metrics shown. You can view metrics at both the overall and individual campaign levels.
