Creating a Conversation Form in Ad Manager

How to Create and Use a Conversation Form

When setting up a Meta Ad Campaign in Ad Manager, choosing the Engagement objective allows you to either create a new conversation form or select an existing one. This form will appear when users interact with your ad, encouraging them to engage further.

Steps to Create a New Conversation Form

  1. Select or Create a Form
    In the Ad Manager, click on the dropdown menu to either select an existing conversation form or create a new one. Choose Create Conversation Form to start fresh.

  2. Define the Form
    A dialog will appear for you to enter the details of your form.

Setting Up the Conversation Form

  • Name Your Form
    Begin by giving your conversation form a descriptive name.

  • Welcome Message/Greeting
    Craft a warm and inviting greeting message that users will see when they click the CTA button (e.g., "Send Message").
    Example:
    "Hi! Thanks for reaching out. How can we assist you today?"

  • Add FAQs or Quick Replies
    Set up 3-5 common questions or options that users can easily tap on.
    Examples:

    • "Tell me about your services"
    • "Do you offer discounts?"
    • "How can I contact support?"
  • Set Up Automated Responses
    Provide automatic responses to the FAQs to streamline user interaction.
    Example:
    If a user selects "Tell me about your services", the automated response might be:
    "We offer a range of services, including XYZ. Would you like to speak with a representative?"

  • Save and Apply the Form
    Click Create to save your new conversation form. Ensure it is linked to your ad for seamless functionality.

Notes

  • You can view a specific preview of how your conversation form will appear on the form preview screen for each messaging app.
  • The Preview section is dynamic, displaying previews only for the messaging apps selected in your engagement ad campaign.
