Locating Custom Audience Options

You can find the option to create custom audiences in two places:

  • Campaign Creation Flow: During the campaign setup, in the 'Budget and Audience' step, look under the Audience Controls section for the Intended Audience options.
  • Retargeting Tab: Click on the dropdown to 'Create new or select retargeting audience', and the first option will be "Create a Custom Audience".

Creating a Custom Audience

Custom Audiences allow you to target individuals familiar with your brand across Meta platforms. Here's how to create them:

  1. Start the Creation Process: Click the 'Create a Custom Audience' button. A dialog will appear where you can select a source for your audience.
  2. Select a Source: Choose a source and click 'Next'. You'll then configure the audience specifics based on the selected source.

Example: Website Custom Audience

  • Pixel Selection: Choose from the list of available pixels in Stack's Ad Manager.

  • Event Selection: Decide between:

    • All website visitors - targets everyone who visited your site.
    • Visitors by time spent - targets those who spent the most time, adjustable by percentile.

Example: Selecting 10% targets the top 10% of time-spending visitors.

  • Audience Retention: Set how long users remain in your audience after interaction, up to 30 days.

  • Additional Clauses: Add or exclude conditions using 'Include more people' or 'Exclude people'.

  • Naming: Provide an audience name and description for easy identification.
