Verifying your domain is a crucial step to ensure your Facebook ads run smoothly, especially with iOS 14 updates. Follow these steps to verify your domain through Facebook Business Manager.
Steps to Verify Your Domain

Log into Facebook Business Manager
Visit Facebook Business Manager and log in with your credentials. -
Navigate to Domains
Once logged in, go to your client's account, then proceed to Brand Safety and select Domains. -
Add Your Domain
Click on Add A Domain. Enter your domain URL without includinghttps://. -
Copy the TXT Record
In the DNS Verification tab, you will see a TXT record. Copy this record as you will need it in the next step. -
Update Your DNS Settings
Access your domain's DNS manager. Create a new TXT record:- Use
@as the host name. - Paste the TXT value you copied from Facebook Business Manager.

Subdomain Verification
Verifying the root domain will automatically verify any subdomains. In your Pixel settings, scroll to the "Domains on your allow list" section and add your root domain. Once saved, it will indicate "yourdomain and sub-domains." -
Using Verified Domains in Ads
When creating a Facebook ad, enter the subdomain in the "Website URL" field. You will then have the option to select the corresponding root domain in the Tracking section.
