Troubleshooting Common Issues

Lead Ads Not Reaching Your Account

  1. Check Access Control: Ensure you have full access to the Facebook page. You can add people to your business portfolio and assign them business assets.

  2. Verify Integration Settings: In your Stack account, navigate to Settings > Integrations > Facebook. Ensure the form selected in Ads Manager is enabled.

  3. Confirm Lead Connector Access:

    • Visit Facebook Business Tools Settings to check if Lead Connector is connected to your Facebook account.
    • Ensure all permissions for page and lead access are granted.
  4. Test Lead Ads: Use the Facebook Leads Ads Testing Tool to verify if leads are being added to your Stack account. Select the page and form to be tested.

  5. Assign Lead Access Permissions Manually: If Lead Connector access is revoked:

    • Navigate to Business Suite or Business Settings.
    • Go to Integrations > Leads Access.
    • Assign LeadConnector by selecting it from the CRM list and clicking "Assign".

Using Third-Party Services

You can integrate Facebook Leads using third-party services like Zapier or Pabbly Connect. For more information, refer to their respective documentation.

Expired Facebook Token

If you receive an email stating "Important: Facebook connection has expired," it means the integration has been disconnected. This could happen due to:

  • Password changes
  • Natural expiration of the Facebook token
  • De-authorization of your app
  • Logging out of Facebook
  • Changes in page permissions
  • Access from different locations without a VPN

Reconnecting Facebook Integration

  1. Select the account from the "Switch To An Account" dropdown.
  2. Click on Settings in the left sidebar.
  3. Navigate to Integrations.
  4. Disconnect the broken integration by clicking "Connected" under the Facebook icon. Reconnect by selecting "Connect" again.
  5. In the popup window, continue as yourself, select the Facebook page to connect, and click "Connect Page".
