Using Advanced Filters for Custom Objects in Stack

Welcome to your guide on utilizing the Advanced Filters feature for custom objects within Stack. This powerful tool allows you to apply detailed filters across various fields, including custom attributes, to refine your data searches. Accessing Advanced Filters

To get started with advanced filtering, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Custom Objects Page

    • Navigate to the Custom Objects page in your Stack account.
  2. Locate the Advanced Filters Option

    • Find the "Advanced Filters" option at the top right of the page.

Setting Up Your Filters

Once you've accessed the Advanced Filters panel, you can start setting up your filters:

  1. Select Fields to Filter By

    • Use the search bar within the panel to quickly locate the fields you wish to filter.
    • Expand categories such as Other Details, Car Info, and Price to choose specific fields.
  2. Apply Filter Conditions

    • Utilize AND/OR logic to refine your search. This allows you to combine multiple conditions for a more precise data search.

Applying and Managing Filters

After setting up your filters, here's how to apply and manage them:

  1. Group and Order Filters

    • Group multiple filters using "AND" or "OR" logic to create complex filter combinations.
    • Adjust the order of your filters in the panel for better clarity and organization.
  2. Remove or Reset Filters

    • To remove a filter, simply deselect it or click the reset button to clear all filters.

Important Note

Currently, advanced filters are applied locally and cannot be saved immediately. However, an upcoming feature called Smartlists will enable saving of filters for future use.
