Managing Notes in Stack
The Notes feature in Stack is your go-to tool for documenting and tracking essential information related to contacts, opportunities, and companies. This guide will help you understand where to find notes, how they function across different sections, and how to manage them effectively.

Contacts Module
In the Contacts Module, you can create and view notes specifically for the selected contact. Each contact has its own Notes section, allowing you to add, search, and filter notes efficiently.
Opportunities Module
Within the Opportunities Module, you'll initially see notes associated with the primary contact of the opportunity. You can apply filters to view notes from additional contacts linked to the opportunity, giving you a comprehensive view of all related notes.
Companies Module
The Companies Module offers a consolidated view of notes from all contacts associated with a particular company. This feature provides a company-wide perspective on discussions and updates, ensuring you have all the relevant information at your fingertips.
How to Use Notes
Adding a Note
- Navigate to the Notes tab.
- Click + Add Note to start a new entry.
- Enter your text and save your note.
Searching for Notes
- Use the Search bar to locate notes using specific keywords.
- Sort notes by Date Created to maintain a chronological order.
Filtering Notes
- Filter notes by associated contacts to view relevant entries across multiple linked contacts.
- In the Opportunities Module, apply filters to access notes from additional contacts.
Viewing Notes
Notes are displayed in a list format, showing the timestamp and the creator's name. You can identify notes associated with specific contacts using the contact name link, providing clarity on the note's context.
With these features, Stack ensures you can efficiently manage and track all your important notes across various modules.
